In Memory of Nacho

From Over the Rainbow
Peanut Montage

Peanut was the runt of the litter. He and his siblings were picked up by the SPCA and went to foster homes. I bottle fed him until the puppies were able to go onto solid foods. Peanut stayed with us longer than the others because he was too little and they were afraid that he would get beaten up by his bigger, rougher siblings.

When he was old enough, he moved to a new home and, sadly, developed some sort of an infection. They were going to send him back to me until he recovered, but he got worse and died. His death affected so many people in Yolo County, all of whom had dealt with Peanut at one time or another. He was one of the most loving little puppies I've seen and I still cry when I think that he lived such a short period of time.

A Tribute to Miracle

Click to watch
This is Miracle's baby picture. He was born in my home and he never knew what it was like to be caged. He is the inspiration behind this memorial site. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I've enjoyed this precious baby dove.
